GC:1VBRIf1fE1rr REGULATION OF TBB RBPfTBLIC OF INDORBSIA No. 7 oL t:be rear ~989 REVISION OF TIlE GOVBRInfEB7' REGULATION No. ~4 oL the rear ~986 CONCERNING T1IB COURCIL OF COPYRIGHT THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA considering That in relation to the establishment of the Directorate General of Copyrights, Patents and Trademarks within the Department of Justice, base~ on the Presidential Decree No. 32 of the Year 1988, and in the course of making the task and function of council of copyright more effective, it is ne~essary to revise the composition of membership of the Council of Copyright as stipulated in the Government Regulation No. 14 of the Year 1986. Bearing in mind 1. Article 5 section (2) of the Constitution of the Year 1945. 2. Law No. 7 of the Year concerning the Revision of Law No. 6 of the Year concerning Copyright (State Gazette of the Year 1987 No.42 Supplemental State Gazette No. 3362). ss HAS DECIDED To Promulgate: Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia concerning Revision of the Government Regulation No. 14 of the Year 1987 concerning the Council of Copyright.

Article 1

To have revised the provisions of article 4 section (2) and article 5 section (1) of the Government Regulation No. 14 of the Year 1986 concerning the council of copyright , so that the whole provisions shall read as follows 1. Article 4 section (2) : The composition of membership of the Council of copyright as referred to in section (1) shall consist of : a. Chairman concurrently as member Minister of Justice b. Vice Chairman concurrently as member Director General of Culture, Department of Education and Culture. S6 c. secretary concurrently Director General of copy as member rights, Patents and Trade­ marks, Department of Justice. d. Deputy Secretary concurrently as member Director of Directorate General of copyrights, Patents and Trademarks, Department of Justice. e. Ten members of the Council of Copyright shall, at the most, consist of representatives of Department, non Departmental Government Institutions among others Department of Education and Culture, Department of Information and representatives of organizations of expertise and profession relating to copyright. 2. Article 5 section (1) "To facilitate the implementation of the daily task of the council, an executive committee is formed comprising of a. Chairman Director General of Copyrights, Patents and Trademarks, Department of Justice. b. secretary Director of copyrights, Director General of Copyrights Trademarks, Department of Justice. c. Several~members as may be needed to be appointed from among the members of the Council.

This Governmet Regulation shall take effect as of the date of enactment. In order that every person thereby be informed this Government Regulation shall appear on a state Gazette of the R9publLe of Indonesia.
